Kelsey Bergstrom, 5-8 Drama Teacher

Kelsey Bergstrom Young is a multidisciplinary performing artist and arts educator--what they call a “triple threat”-- an accomplished actor, vocalist, and dancer.  She is also an experienced teacher of acting, singing, and various forms of dance, as well as experienced in directing and choreographing plays, musicals, and dance pieces with children ages 5-18.  She holds a BA in Theatre Arts and Literature from Sarah Lawrence College, as well as an MFA in dance from St. Mary’s College of California. 

 

Kelsey believes that every human being benefits from an arts education, and that the skills we practice, name, and hone in the arts classroom serve us our entire lives long.  Outside of her work in the arts, Kelsey is still working as an accomplished chef, baker, and culinary instructor, and mom to an awesome 3 year old.  Her other passions include foreign languages and travel, as well as spending time in nature.
