Katie Rutledge, Middle School Learning Specialist and Student Support Coordinator

Katie grew up in Portland, Oregon and has been in the Bay Area for over two years. She is a lifelong learner and is passionate about education. Her early career started in Thearaputic Recreation, Special Education, and Educational Prgrams for Prison Reforms. These experiences have been critical in leading her own educational pathway and to seek a career in education. She received a B.S.  in Sociology from the University of Oregon, and her M. A. in Educational Leadership from From Mills College. Katie believes that education is a human right and takes actions steps each day to create an environment that builds off of the belief.
