hi I'm Alyssa Edwards and the Collegiate teacher in the water class which is 4th grade of her page Steven water classes home many ways as we can so one of the things that we do to start the year is me look at identity and community at home so we are writing Where I'm From poems to really try to capture who we are we are we are have a year-long study around Habitat in ecosystem is home and so we are looking at how ecosystems work what happens when things change in ecosystem how that impacts the whole system and we look specifically the forest ecosystem when we're doing our first days in the fall and then we look specifically at pollinators and how they impact an ecosystem in the spring we also study what it means to make it home in Earth country is so we study earthquakes happen here and earthquake engineering what we can do in to be prepared in the case of an earthquake and work with expert Structural Engineers on that it's a really a Hands-On project and Walter be looking at to California history and so we'll be looking at how different people up through the gold rush and Beyond and we have to Coloma in California to cause raised its rush for gold that really food the California population and will be going on that as well
