Book Swap & Read-a-thon
In celebration of our love of books, the whole community spends much of the day reading. Students can come in pajamas and bring favorite "stuffies" and sleeping bags for this annual tradition. Reading stations are available in the classrooms and the library for students to engage in a variety of reading and book related activities.
In preparation for this event, the students bring books from home to trade at a lunchtime Book Swap. Students wheel and deal, trading in books they have already read for "new" books for them to explore.
