Choosing a private education for your child is a very important decision and sometimes can present challenges. There are many aspects to consider. Touring our campus is an important part of the decision making process. As you experience the daily life going on around you, you will get a sense of what Berkwood Hedge School is all about. While you are here, you will meet other parents and you will experience the Berkwood Hedge School community and get a sense of whether this is the right place for your child and your family.
Open House complements our school day tours. We recommend you go on a school tour in addition to attending the Open House.

Wednesdays, 8:20-8:50 am
Students, teachers, and staff meet weekly in our Community Room to sing, share information and curricular highlights, honor each other, and celebrate birthdays. Parents/guardians and siblings are always welcome.

Meet our teachers and learn about Berkwood Hedge School. Our open house begins with a session with our Head of School and is followed by an opportunity to meet our teachers and to learn about the promise of a Berkwood Hedge education. During the Open House you will have an opportunity to hear from our teachers about our rich, innovative, challenging and relevant academic program, connect with current families and hear from our alumni panel.

Virtual Parent Education Series: Growing Your Child

This experiential activity is not to be missed! This experience offers prospective parents a holistic and intentional introspection into who your child is and your hopes for your child in elementary school and beyond. Love has offered this experience to hundreds of parents. It has been lauded by parents, educators, and psychologists as an imperative step in understanding who your child is as you navigate the complex process of choosing a school.
Love holds an MA in Educational Leadership from Mills College. In addition to her teaching credentials, Love is currently completing her certification fo School Management and Leadership through a partnership between the Harvard School of Business and the Harvard School of Education. Love is also a mother to two college-age students.
