After School Programs
Our After School Programs offer a warm and caring environment where children can engage in a range of activities and social opportunities, or simply take some time for themselves.
Extended Care Program
Offered on both our Lower School and Middle School campuses, the Extended Care Program is led by a talented team who thoughtfully coordinate engaging activities that foster discovery and growth. Our loose yet consistent structure allows for plenty of free and imaginative play. We provide a delicious and nutritious snack every day, as well as a designated time and quiet space for Homework Club, where students can receive individual help. There is no need to sign up ahead of time for our daily Extended Care Program. Drop-ins are always welcome so families have maximum flexibility.
Extended Care Program Hours:
Lower & Middle School
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 3:30 - 6:00pm

Enrichment Classes
We offer three, 8-week After School Enrichment Class sessions each year. These are specialized, fee-based classes and clubs taught by Berkwood Hedge School staff members, and designed for students interested in learning about specific topics. Popular past Enrichment Classes include Coding, Lego Robotics, Dance & Choreograpy, Dungeons & Dragons, and Learning To Play Pokémon.
Athletics
After-school athletics focus on skill-building, teamwork, and fair play. Our athletics program is open to all students in grades 6-8. Fifth graders are welcome to participate in practices for skill-building and fun! A variety of sports are offered throughout the year. Learn more about the Athletics Program.
