Leilee Weyerhaeuser, Trustee

Leilee has lived in Berkeley for 8.5 years.  Before moving to the Bay Area, she lived in Connecticut where she raised 4 children.  She received her BA in Political History at University of Oregon. Having worked as a literacy volunteer, researcher, and writer, Leilee has been a community voice and advocate for most of her adult life.  In 2014, she and her partner, Damian Rouson, found Berkwood Hedge School when they needed to transfer their, then, third grader now alumni (class of 2017).   Leilee’s hobbies include swimming in the ocean, traveling, reading, and attending the Olympics when possible.
