Lower School Learning Specialist K-4

Before joining Berkwood Hedge School in 2016, Edie was the Learning Resource Coordinator at Oakland Hebrew Day School for five years. Edie has worked with students with special needs and different learning styles for 25 years. Her background includes experience in public elementary and middle schools, a small specialized non-public school, and a residential psychiatric treatment center for children. Edie has a Level II Mild to Moderate credential in Special Education, a Master's Degree in Special Education from San Francisco State University, as well as a certificate in teaching students with autism. Edie earned her B.A. in English literature at UCLA.
