4th Grade WATER Lead Teacher and Director of Program and Curriculum

Elisa earned her BA and MSEd at Sarah Lawrence College in 1996 and 1997, respectively. Her Master's thesis was on mathematics assessment. From 1997-2000 she taught second through fourth grade at the Muscota New School in Manhattan and participated in the Mathematics in the City program at City College. She taught math and literacy to third through fifth graders in San Luis Obispo before arriving at Berkwood Hedge in 2006. Elisa worked as the K-2 math specialist for seven years and as the Earth Class Lead Teacher for five before moving up to the Water Class in 2018. She served on the Board of Trustees for three years from 2012-2015. Elisa is also the parent of three alums.
