Daniel Paige, Trustee

Daniel is honored to join the Board of Trustees this year, to deepen his connection with the Berkwood Hedge School community, and to be a support to the staff, parents and students. He is the father of a class of 2025 student. Daniel strives to be a lifelong learner, and he brings a passion for education dating back to his own elementary school in Philadelphia where his mom was the art teacher for 30 years among a team of talented and progressive educators. Daniel has an MFA in Painting from the San Francisco Art Institute, and an MS in Chinese Medicine from American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (in SF). His acupuncture practice has been in Berkeley for 15 years, and his art studio is in his backyard in Albany. Additionally, for 20 years Daniel has held a part-time position as Administrative Assistant at Step One Preschool in Berkeley, where you'll find him in the morning helping the kiddos begin their educational journeys.
