Natalie Crowley is a Berkeley native with almost a decade of experience teaching 1st and 2nd graders. Natalie received her B.A. in Communication Studies from UCLA, and her M.Ed. in Elementary Education from University of Missouri, St. Louis. She also holds a California multiple subjects teaching credential. After teaching in public and charter schools for many years, she found her professional home in progressive education. In addition to teaching, Natalie also founded the blog NatureNatalie.com, where she writes about the benefits of connecting children with nature. When she is not teaching, Natalie can be found hiking the hills of the Bay Area with her husband and dog, cooking something delicious in the kitchen, or planning her next travel adventure.
