Kris Jachens, Director of Advancement and Communications

Kris grew up in Cupertino, attended college and law school at UC Davis, and has called the East Bay home for almost 20 years. After realizing that practicing law was not for her, she began her career in nonprofit communications and fundraising. Kris has been helping people be their most generous and compassionate selves for 18 years. Her first development job was running the Annual Fund at an independent school in San Francisco and she has worked in higher education and human services.
