Jade Thomas

Jade Thomas spent her early childhood in the coastal town of Mendocino, where she developed a lifelong love of nature. When she was in junior high, her family relocated to Berkeley, a community she has proudly called home ever since.

Jade studied Early Childhood Education at Merritt College and earned her Montessori Assistant Teacher certification before working as a nanny with local families. She later spent 12 years in independent school admissions and administration, serving as a trusted guide for families throughout the admissions process while partnering with faculty and staff to help create a warm, welcoming school community. Most recently, Jade worked for a Bay Area software company, where she strengthened partnerships, improved systems and processes, and collaborated across teams to solve complex challenges. She is excited to bring those relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills to Berkwood Hedge in support of its students, families, and faculty.
