Afterschool Associate Teacher

Born and raised in Berkeley, Berkwood Hedge alumni Poppy recently graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a B.A. in Studio Art. In collaboration with the UC Artsbridge program, Poppy completed a five-month student teaching residency in Watsonville, CA for the Advanced Art Class at Cesar E. Chavez Middle School. Poppy has also worked as a children’s outdoor educator at local favorite, Trackers, for four seasons, serving as a K-8 Teacher Coordinator and Aftercamp Program Director. Today, Poppy continues her practice as an artist, educator, and costume designer in the San Francisco Bay Area. She’s thrilled to return to Berkwood Hedge School as an Afterschool Associate Teacher and is excited to use her experience to give back to the community.
