Jules Davtyan

Jules lived in the Sacramento area for much of her life and earned her B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Human Development from California State University, East Bay. Before joining Berkwood Hedge, she spent over a decade caring for children through childcare and volunteer work, and also worked in affordable housing development supporting unhoused adults and families. Her work is grounded in a deep commitment to nurturing growth, building relationships, and creating inclusive, supportive spaces for young people and their families.

 

Jules believes in creating environments where children feel seen and respected, and where families feel connected and supported. She’s guided by values of emotional development, creativity, and justice, and finds joy in helping each child—and their grown-ups—feel a true sense of belonging. Outside of school, she enjoys playing tennis, making music, cooking, and spending time with her charmingly unpredictable cat Oliver.
