Christian Mehalic
PE, LS Librarian, 3rd Grade Math Specialist
Christian Mehalic began his journey in education as a teenager in Washington, DC, volunteering at and eventually helping to lead several summer camps in Northern Virginia. He earned his B.S. in Early Childhood Education from The University of New Orleans and has since taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade, as well as worked in a middle school special education setting. Through these experiences, Christian has developed a strong foundation in differentiated instruction and a deep commitment to supporting both the academic and social-emotional needs of his students. He is passionate about helping young learners build core foundational skills and takes great joy in creating a classroom environment that is inclusive, empathetic, and full of curiosity. Outside of the classroom, Christian enjoys biking around the Bay Area, traveling whenever he can, and discovering new restaurants that showcase the region’s incredible culinary talent.
