Edie Hirsch

Lower School Learning Specialist, Grades K-4

Edie has worked with students with different learning profiles and special needs for several decades. In the last ten years, she has focused on supporting elementary and middle school students along with their teachers with differentiation in independent schools. Her background also includes experience in public schools, a specialized non-public school, and a residential psychiatric facility for children. Edie has a clear Level II Mild-Moderate credential as well as a Master's degree in Special Education from San Francisco State University. She also has certificates in autism and Orton-Gillingham training. Edie earned a BA in English Literature at UCLA. Outside of the school setting, Edie enjoys traveling, hiking, exploring art museums, and spending time with her family and friends.
