Spirit Class

 

The youngest members of our school community enter school curious and eager to learn about the world around them. During their first year, kindergarteners grow as readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists, artists and friends. They become comfortable in the classroom setting and learn to take risks and speak their minds.

 

Through classroom and school meetings, fifth grade buddy friendships, engaging classroom activities, and extended playtime, the youngest students at Berkwood Hedge develop a strong sense of themselves as capable learners and important members of the school community.

 

They are called the SPIRIT Class because kindergarteners enter school full of spirit, energy, enthusiasm and fun.
