Join us for Seeding Possibilities: A Celebration of Berkwood Hedge School’s 80-Year Legacy!

Since 1946, Berkwood Hedge School has planted seeds of care, creativity, and curiosity in young learners, nurturing children to grow into thoughtful stewards and leaders of their communities. 

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, we will gather for a multi-generational celebration to honor the roots of our past, celebrate the vibrancy of our present, and to seed possibilities for the next 80 years, together.

Join us for an unforgettable celebration full of music, dance, food, and connection as we joyfully revisit the boldness of the 1980s; delight in the sight, sound and taste of paella cooked on site; and hear from current families, alumni, and leaders throughout Berkwood Hedge School’s 80-year legacy.

What to Expect:

• A Taste of Community: Enjoy a delicious paella dinner, cooked live right in front of us.
• Voices of Berkwood Hedge School: Be inspired by powerful stories from alumni students, parents, and community leaders who have shaped our history.
• Dance Like It’s the 80s Again: Break out your dance moves with a follow-along class taught by Rhythm & Motion dance instructors from ODC and Berkeley Ballet Theater. Bring your best 1980s party outfit for a chance to win our “Best Dressed” costume contest!
• Sneak Peek: Be among the first to see a special short documentary highlighting the heart of our school.
• The Online Auction You’ve Been Waiting For: We’ll have an exciting online auction featuring local favorites – plus a few once-in-a-lifetime experiences!
