Almare Gelato, owned by a Berkwood Hedge School family, is open for takeout for pints only. The hours are from 2-7pm. You can call in your order to (510) 649-1888 and pay over the phone, then pick up your order at the door. No customers are allowed inside the shop at this time.You can also order your pints with Uber Eats, Grub Hub or Postmates. All surfaces in the shop and gelato lab are being sanitized on a regular basis.
Almare Gelato has implemented additional safety precautions because of COVID-19. All materials and surfaces used during production in the gelato lab are being sanitized daily. Other surfaces handled during sales, such as credit card machines and cash register, are disinfected after each use. All employees are also required to wear gloves and masks.
