Afterschool Enrichment Program
For many students, Before and Afterschool care are significant parts of every school day. Our extended care program offers a range of activities in a relaxed social setting.
Beforeschool Care
The purpose of Beforeschool is to provide a warm, low-key environment for children before the start of the school day. Arts and crafts activities are available and there is time for indoor and outdoor free play.
Beforeschool is open:
- Monday through Friday, 7:30a.m. - 8:30a.m.
Afterschool Care
Art and cooking projects, board and card games, outside activities, sports, and free play are available during Afterschool. In addition, Spanish language and culture are informally integrated into the day. We offer a daily supervised Homework Club, and Los Mapaches, our Latin American music ensemble. Additional enrichment classes such as cartooning and martial arts are offered during the course of the year.
Afterschool is open:
- Monday through Friday, 3:00p.m. - 6:00p.m. except on Wednesday
- Wednesday, 2:00p.m. - 6:00p.m. due to early dismissal.
Holiday Care
On-site childcare is also provided on staff development and conference days if there is sufficient enrollment.
For vacation weeks (Winter, February, Spring and Summer breaks), Monkey Business Camp provides childcare programs.
