The "Mostly" Blue Sky Committee came together in the Fall of 2005 to begin the process of re-imagining and re-creating the outdoor space at Berkwood Hedge to enhance the experience of the children who learn and play here. One goal is to create a children's play yard that incorporates green building. A parallel goal is to use the project, both during its construction and after its completion, as an opportunity to educate the adults in the community, both in the school and without, about the possibilities for interacting positively with the environment and building in a way that minimizes the impact on the earth. Comprised of both parents and staff, the "Mostly" Blue Sky Committee welcomes new members.
