Book This Evening: January 26, 2012, 7-8:30 p.m.
Meet award-winning author/illustrator, LeUyen Pham, at our annual author presentation. Illustrator of the popular Alvin Ho series, graphic novels, and Kelly DiPucchio's Grace for President, Pham has also illustrated her own work, including Big Sister, Little Sister. This evening event offers Berkwood Hedge students and their families a glimpse into the world of local children's book authors and illustrators.
Following an interactive presentation, students are invited to ask our presenters questions about their creative process, including how they get ideas, how they approach editing, and what it's like to work collaboratively with other authors and illustrators.
Sponsored by the Library Committee, the presenters' books will be sold -- 20% of these book sales go directly into the Library fund for new book purchase -- and may be signed by our visiting guest. Baked good and hot cocoa will be sold to support the fundraising effort.
